Clinical Trials

General Information

Clinical trials are an excellent way to get access to state-of-the-art treatment. There is a common misconception that clinical trials are only for “last ditch” efforts when all other options have been tried. But that’s not the case at all; many trials are open to newly diagnosed patients.

Moreover, clinical trials are essential in moving the science of treating multiple myeloma (and other cancers) forward. They are how new treatments progress from the lab to FDA approval.
