The speaker for our June 8, 2019 meeting will be Adam Cohen, MD, Penn Medicine. Dr. Cohen will give us an overview of immunotherapy and its role in the treatment of multiple myeloma. As you probably know, there has been tremendous progress recently in the use immunotherapy to treat many forms of cancer, including multiple myeloma.

The speaker for our September 14, 2019 meeting will be Megan Smith from the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS). Megan will provide us information about the upcoming "Light the Night" event.
We are now entering the open enrollment period for 2019 healthcare insurance coverage via Medicare (Oct 15-Dec 7th) and ACA (Nov. 1-Dec.15).
For our November 9, 2019 meeting program, Nicole Dugan, DPT & Joy Cohn, PT, of the UPenn Medical Center will present information on how multiple myeloma patients can use physical activity and exercise to improve cancer-related fatigue, peripheral neuropathy, and lymphedema symptoms.
The March 14th meeting of the PMMNG has been cancelled.
It is prudent that we take no risks with each other during this uncertain time of the coronavirus.
We are hoping to gather together again on April 11th .
PMMNG leader Maddie Hunter will be the host of a program co-produced by Patient Power and the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) Myeloma Center entitled "Your Own Myeloma Roadmap: From Diagnosis to Survivorship." The program will be held Saturday April 18th from 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM EDT
