We will be holding our next regular monthly Philadelphia Multiple Myeloma Networking Group (PMMNG) meeting on Saturday, March 9, 2024 from 1:30-3:00 PM EST via Zoom.  Alfred Garfall, MD will join us to discuss one of the hottest topics in multiple myeloma research and treatment -- cellular medicine. He will describe the two main types of cellular medicine currently used for multiple myeloma, CAR-T therapy and BiTE (Bispecific T-Cell Engager) therapy, help us understand what they are and how they work, and what has been learned from clinical trials and clinical practice using these new treatments. He will also discuss what’s coming on the horizon in cellular medicine for multiple myeloma. 

Dr. Garfall is Associate Professor of Medicine (Hematology/Oncology) and Director of the Autologous Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplant program at Penn Medicine.
