Our next monthly PMMNG meeting will be Saturday January 13, 2024 from 1:30-3:00 PM ET. This meeting with be conducted by Zoom.

This meeting will feature a presentation, ”All the questions you want to ask about labs…answered”, by Colleen Erb. It will cover multiple myeloma lab tests from basics to complex, including a bit on the newest tests being used to detect myeloma, minimal residual disease (MRD) tests. Please bring your questions!

As usual another important part of the meeting will be our small group breakout sessions. These breakout sessions give us a chance to catch up with each other in a small group, informal setting. In addition, these breakout sessions give folks a chance to bring up any questions they may have about their myeloma symptoms, treatment, etc.

Colleen Erb MSN, CRNP, ACNP-BC, AOCNP is a certified oncology nurse practitioner who is currently working at Jefferson Health - Asplundh Cancer Pavilion.  She has over 20 years experience in hematology/oncology and has also worked at Penn Medicine and Fox Chase Cancer Center in the Hematology/Oncology/Bone Marrow Transplant groups.  She has been involved with the Oncology Nursing Society at the local level for many years and has served as a writer for supportive care information in textbooks and journal articles. She was a part of the Putting Evidence Into Practice teams (now ONS Clinical Guidelines) for Prevention of Infection, Chemotherapy Induced Peripheral Neuropathy, chemotherapy-induced diarrhea, and anorexia. She has presented on supportive care topics and heme malignancies nationally for patients and providers. 

As always, patients and care partners are welcome to attend.
