We will be holding our next regular monthly Philadelphia Multiple Myeloma Networking Group (PMMNG) meeting on Saturday, June 14, 2025 from 1:30-3:00 PM EST via Zoom.  Our meeting will feature a presentation about SparkCures by Brian McMahon.

SparkCures is a patient navigation and technology company dedicated to simplifying the process of clinical trial discovery and enrollment for cancer patients. Brian McMahon, the founder of SparkCures, will be joining our group on Saturday, June 14th to talk about clinical trials and the new partnership between SparkCures and the International Myeloma Foundation (IMF) to help ensure that multiple myeloma patients all across the US can quickly and easily discover their clinical trial options.

Clinical trials are the only path towards better treatments, higher quality of life, and a cure for multiple myeloma. Yet only a small number of myeloma patients will ever participate in a clinical trial. This leads to lengthy delays in new drug development and means it takes even longer for patients to gain access to newer, better therapies.

Brian McMahon is a four-time cancer caregiver, a recipient of the 40 Under 40 in Cancer award, an avid musical theatre fan, a father of two awesome little girls and the founder of SparkCures. Over the past 9 years, SparkCures has worked with more than 13,000 blood cancer patients around the country to help them better understand their clinical trial options.

While the meeting itself will begin at 1:30, we will be starting the Zoom at 1:00 pm for anyone interested in having a little more time to talk to one another informally or ask questions.
